Seraph, the Void Scholar - key art & character design

Key art and concept development for Seraph, scholar with a morbid curiosity for what lies beyond the stars, drawing his powers from an eldritch horror, careless of the corruption that afflicts him like a disease, and which is getting worse. His appearance mirrors the classical savant aestethic, with a focus on both the elements which suggest the disease spreading and his attitude to unscrupulous knowledge.
